I just got my new cable internet service hooked up, but I can't get my wireless network working. I have a Motorola Surfboard S6121 modem and a Linksys EA3500 wireless router. It works fine when I plug the ethernet from the modem directly into my computer, but when I plug it into the router, it doesn't seem to recognize the connection.

Hi! Are you able to connect to the internet if you are directly connected to your ADSL modem? That is the first requirement that you should have in order for the EA3500 to be setup properly. Verify your internet connection first direcly to your modem. Kindly check as well what IP address your computer is getting while it is connected to your modem.
